Well, EGGtoberfest 2003 has come and gone. This has been and will be said many times, but it was an event to remember. I have lots of people I’d like to thank and I’m sure I’ll forget someone. So, if you are not mentioned below, thank you, thank you, thank you! Others are not mentioned below due to circumstances that may incriminate them (you know who you are!).[p]Ed, Jim, John, B.A., Naned, Jodi, Brenda et al- Thanks for putting on a truly world class event.[p]Fatman- Kevin, thanks for helping me put together the Fogo de Chao experience! It was incredible. I now have a new term for being too full to eat another bite- Fogo’d![p]Julie Appledog- Thanks for keeping me out and getting me a little drunker than I had planned on Friday night! It was a blast![p]Bill Wise- Thanks for your accounting skills at Fogo on Friday afternoon! The cookbook is great, too![p]drbbq- Thanks for all the great tips on competition that you provided. The chicken was outstanding![p]Qbabe & Mr. Hyde- I’m not quite sure how you cooked as much as you did Saturday, but it was all outstanding and the hotel “after” party was great as well![p]Nature Boy- Thanks for the rub and thanks for designing the EGGomanics’ logo. It was very well received! Oh, that chicken thigh you dug out of the trash for me was great, too![p]Earl & Barb- Thanks for getting some of that great steak to me![p]Mr. & Mrs. Squeeze- It was great meeting you, Kevin & Tammy. I’m glad you enjoyed the peach cobbler![p]WessB and SallyB- That garlic bread started the day off right! It’s always fun to hang with you guys!![p]JimW, JonW, KenW- As always, it was fun cooking next to y’all. It’s a shame we only see other when we are miles away from Charleston! LOL![p]KennyG- Thanks for the wake-up call on Sunday!! Who needs sleep?!! It’s always great to see you, my friend!![p]YB- Thanks for the mint juleps, Larry. Nice job keeping the tradition alive![p]Finally, I’m glad the 20 squad cars and the Mobile Crime Lab van that showed up during the “after” party at the hotel were not there for any of us!!![p]SEE YOU ALL NEXT YEAR AND SOME OF YOU SOONER!!!!!!!! [p][p]

Ok, so maybe it was only 4 squad cars. LOL! I don't know what happened, but they did have the CSI van there. Thanks a million for the great paprika. I'm using some this evening! Oh, I had the left over pig for lunch today. That stuff was really good! Glad that was a success, too. Give Michelle a hug for me and I hope to see you guys again real soon!![p]Frosty Ones,
Jim
