Little did I know that when I finally bought a BGE several years ago, that I also inherited a group of folks who were later to become like a family.
I don't know who to thank, but I thank everyone who was part of the Eggtoberfest, and made my wife and I feel welcome. It was a great experience, and one that we hated to see come to an end.
To meet people face to face that you have communicated with forseveral years, was very rewarding, when you find out they were as nice in person as they were over the net, or folks whom you have reservations about, were just the opposite.
To each of you, once again, we thank you!

  • We are in total agreement with your statement. My wife and I,being new eggers, had planned to go and just check things out. My son-in-law wanted to cook so we did just that very thing. Everything was great from the weather,to the sandy beach we cooked on,to the people we meet, and of course all the great food we sampled. My wife, with the help a great lady we meet Friday night,Miriam Webb, made several raod trips and returned with samples for me to try. We've already been talking about next year. I too would like to say a BIG THANKS to the Green Egg Folks,Fellow Eggers, and anyone else that had a part in this GREAT happenning!!! Thanks again,Poppasam & Ms.Diane
