Official Eggtoberfest Post

There seems to be confusion on the status of Eggtoberfest registration. Can you get an "offical" update and post it as a banner on the forum??? It might help the confusion.

Thanks Kim. If that happens maybe I might get Sargent Clinton and my daughter in b-4 he has to go off to his next shooting war. He loves eggin. Mostly high speed low drag, I have to do the lo n slo's.

I guess I'm not sure about the confusion... I checked the mothership site at http://www.biggreenegg.com and it says cooks registration and Saturday are SOLD OUT... but meet-n-greet are still OPEN.

Did you mean we should change the banner to say SOLD OUT?

Please advise.

I guess if the meet-n-greet is still open you probably shouldn't say sold out, but i am not sure if anyone would just do the meet-n-greet..sorry if I added to the confusion...

i think they should do a who's comming list like they did last year it was more informative than the current list

WMK and I didn't do the registration this year. :-(

Yes, I must admit I did like the more complete and informative "who's coming" like last year that was integrated with the forum. Of course I'm a bit biased. ;-)

If they could get us the data from the registration folks at eventbrite we might be able to do something, but then I didn't go through registration so I'm not sure they'd have all the data we'd need. When we did the registration through the forum we had the forum database readily at hand... that made putting together an integrated "who's coming" a bit easier. I think it's what us programmers called "purpose built".
