In trying to figure out how many EGGs we need for cooking this year, I am going to attempt to do some analysis BEFORE this Saturday. I need your help by answering the following for me:
1) When do you plan to cook? (Indicate all that apply) 9AM-11AM, 11AM-2PM, 2PM-5PM
2) How long (in half hour increments) do you need an EGG?
3) What temperature range do you need? under 250 ; 275-400 ; 450 or above?
4) Is there someone you want to cook with or nearby? (yes will not do for an answer)
5) Finally, if you have the recipe (or can point me to a URL for it), I'll print it up on 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 paper.[p]Thanks. Send any response to recipes@biggreenegg.com[p]See you Saturday.[p]

KennyG, yes, I have some pecan. Good chunks about 3' long and 4" in diameter. I'll make sure you have some.

Wise One,[p]I'm bringing several pounds of fresh jalapenos from Texas and had expected to cook ABT's all day long with some johnsonville brats near the end. All I need is lump charcoal, hickory chunks, and a grill extender.[p]I'll have a friend with me to help. If you need the egg for others, just let me know what time I can cook, but it could cause problems once word gets out there are Texas ABT's around [grin].

    Cheers,

Wise One,[p]My email isn't working this morning, so to get the info to you as quickly as possible, I'll reply here...[p]We'll need one cooking session, from 11-2. Our cooks will range in the 300°-400° area. We'd like to be near Wess & Sally B and Nature Boy, if possible.[p]I'll try the email in a little while and see if I can get the recipes to you...[p]Thanks for all your efforts and I'm looking forward to finally meeting you...[p]Tonia
