Planning a road trip with the mini

Looks like I'll be taking a 4 to 6 week road trip starting late in August. Going with a friend to Banff, AB via Calgary - I guess being unemployeed has its benefits :unsure:

I just got the mini and plan to take it along on the road trip. What, as a minimum, do you recommend I take along with it for cooking purposes?

are you talking accessories or food? for accessories I would take the mini kim woo and the little pizza stones from amazon.com! for food... about anything but a pork butt for low and slow

lump, rubs, grid brush, ash tool, tongs, and a spatula.

Those are pretty much the basics.

Folks,

I have:
-thermapen,
-two of the baking stones
-the mini kim woo is on order, should be here tomorrow :woohoo:
-an 8" CI skillet
-a combo spatula/tongs
-grid brush
-ash tool seems like it should go too
-nomex gasket kit,unless I torch the std gaskets before the trip :evil:
-I guess a thirdhand isn't necessary with the mini?
-std stuff - lump, gloves, rubs, HDAF, cross point screw driver to keep the bands tight?

The mini will be riding in an RV tralier, what precautions do you think I should take in security it for the journey? Like wraping the innards in a towel?

small ash can to put hot coals in so you can cool the mini down for storage/transport?
