Excess Zucchini Lasagna

The First Mate put together this nice Zucchini Lasagna last night while we cooked a Brisket. We are starting to get backed up with the little devils and the neighbors are starting to refuse them.

It had a nice smokey flavor from the remaining fire from my first really successful Brisket cook.

    dang . . . I just thought zucchini was just for slicing and frying :unsure:

    CHOCOLATE ZUCCHINI CAKE

    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. oil
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. sour milk
    2 c. ground zucchini
    2 1/2 c. flour
    4 tbsp. cocoa
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 chocolate chips
    1/2 chopped walnuts

    Mix all together.
    indirect on the egg. platesetter legs up with grate. use a bunt pan. and go about 40 -50 minute.
