Spaghetti and Meatballs

I've been making spaghetti and meatballs as a staple meal for my kids using the Maroni recipe from Bobby Flay's Throwdown competitor's recipe ever since I saw the episode. It's a very straightforward, traditional dish and always keeps the family happy.
Last night, I did the deed again, with the only difference being that the meatballs were baked in the Large BGE. The additional flavor and aroma from a hint of natural lump smoke took this dish up to a divine level. The first bite of a hunk of one of those meatballs sent me right into Big Green Egg nirvana.

Meatballs on the egg are very good thing. The next level is too roast tomatoes, onion, garlic and seasoning on the BGE and make your own sauce. Your kids may prefer your go to recipe, but it's worth trying sometime.LBGE Katy (Houston) TX
