Stuffed chicken breast: Direct or Indirect???
florida Nick
Posts: 101
I have some chicken breasts stuffed with cheese and jalepeno slices and wrapped in bacon.
Should I go direct or indirect?
I was thinking of going direct until they look done and then just checking the temp.
I have never cooked stuffed chicken before so any help would be appreciated.
thanks
Nick

BigGreenEggs-N-Ham,
You are fine direct. Better if you can raise the grid or leave your lump low.

Thanks Steve,
Thats what i was planning on doing, just saw a bunch of posts where people were cooking them indirect. Either way would be fine with me, I just figured direct on a raised grid would be a little quicker.
THanks

BigGreenEggs-N-Ham,
I like them better on a raised grid. Didn't know if you had one.

Raised direct is pretty much my default setup nowadays. My woo ring stays in place even when adding lump.
