Went to the American Royal last night and had free food at Tom & Josh's and Pit Pyros. Tried to find the eggers, only found one....must have been that Vodka Lemonade I was drinking (hehehe).
Bought the BBQ Guru and am trying it out right now on 3 Spatchcock's (rubbed with Tony Cachere's Creole Seasoning and a bit of Turbinaro sugar). Bringing them to a party tonight - we are now the hit of most parties but ONLY if we bring along a couple of Spatchcocks. We're going to overnight a brisket for Sunday football tomorrow.[p]Life is good right now!

  • ChefAmy,
I was the one you spoke with at the Royal. We had a blast and I enjoyed speaking with you. I can't tell you how many people stopped to ask about the egg. In fact, when I was gone my team mate was awoken from his afternoon slumber on friday to be asked all about the two eggs I had in my custom table I built. If I get a chance, I will try to post a couple of pics from our eggsperience at the largest cook off in the world. 417 teams this year. WOW! What a party!!!!!
