For a first post, thought I'd send a picture. Better than a 1,000 words. Or would, If I could post a picture. Didn't work, I'll try posting a link instead

For these two I rubbed them down first with mustard then used a rub I got from a book called "Smoke". Put the butts on yesterday evening around 7, today at noon, they were just reaching 180F. It is now 1 and I put on some baby back ribs to keep them company. Egg is still going strong at 250F. Called it a night at midnight egg was at 250 woke up this morning and it had dropped to about 230F, not bad. Have to love the eggs.

Congratulations and welcome to the forum.
Great looking butt's there.
Use the HTML image codes and your picture should show in the post.
It appears flicker.com will not allow a direct link. If you use photobucket.com (free) your pictures will display inside a post - folks won't have to click on a link, then to another screen.

Pulled them off the egg, very tender, had to use a spatula to keep them from breaking up. Put the ribs in foil for the next hour.
A couple of more on the egg? Maybe if I stacked them. Before they cooked down, they took up quite a bit of space. -
Surprised Flickr won't work. I use it for other forums. When I tried to post the picture with Flickr it turned out like this,,, checked preview, might be good to go this time
