Someone should write the history of the Egghead Forum!

This forum was very much alive and active when I bought my EGG in 2002, but I'm sure it goes back much further than that.

Some of the names I remember seeing don't post anymore, but many new names have come on board since.

I was curious so I did a search on this forum for "Pulled Pork" and selected "Oldest Message First".

The first message to come up was dated: 2000/01/01 11:56 by Elder Ward.

In 2000 it took me more than a week to read the "archives" ....I'm fairly certain it was mid to late 90's....there are still a few lurking that were some of the original forum members, maybe they will say for sure...

FWIW, The Internet as we know it has only been around since the mid to late '90's. So I guess this Forum is probably responsible for the success and growth of the internet.

A little too clean cut. might be a cut-ff date for the archives. dunno.
