My grate has a crack in it should I worry about it or wait till it breaks in two before getting it replaced?

get it replaced and keep using it till it can't be used anymore..

Looks like mine. Actually it lets more air through so keep it till it breaks in half.

I have one that is not quite as bad, but a relpacement is on the way. I'll replace it the day my new one shows up. When they fail in the middle of a cook, a handful of hot lump can fall into the ash compartment and plays havoc with the airflow of the cook that is underway.
In the meantime, I'm still cooking on mine, I just put my larger pieces of lump over the cracked area.Happy Trails~thirdeye~Barbecue is not rocket surgery
