Just an Idea ......

I was thinking about all the Eggcessories we all use: from the basic Plate Setter to the latest model Guru and everything in between. They are all great and help expand our abilities. But...
How bout we pick a day, maybe one day this weekend, where we cook at plain old standard grid level without any thing else. Just what comes in the box. Tongs only.
We could start a thread that night and do pics of everyones ideas.

Anyone think we could get significant participation?

I like the idea, but I can't participate until the next weekend when I pick up my first new egg! Although I did start accumulating all of the extras already :woohoo:

heres some chicken cooked on the lower level from last week, followed the directions with just a couple handfuls of lump.

how about we experiment with ribs, butt, and brisket, im game for that

They used to do it on the Primo forum and it looked like a lot of fun. Somebody would draw ingredients from a hat on Wednesday or so and they would do the pics on Sunday or so.

this does sound like fun! I like the back to the basics. lets the new people have an even field and those of us that just got the toys... oh well I can pull them off LOL the newspaper pic works for me and the main ingredient and we can do what ever??

I don't know how they did it on the P word forum but I know that they drew two or three ingredients out of a hat. Sometimes they were way different and I think some of the fun was in that.
