Blackened Flounder

Picked up some fresh flounder at the store, thought it may be too thin to blacken, but turned out great.
The raws:

Used paul's blackening seasoning with some melted butter.
CI skillet with dome at 500.

Fish on:

About 2 minutes a side:


Plated with the parr family spaghetti salad recipe and green beans, great summer meal.

Egg on!

Got to love blacken fish on the Egg! Nice that you can get fresh seafood. I do catfish all the time. Quick and easy but taste great. Well done! :woohoo:

If it ain't smokin' so thick you can't see the fish, it ain't truly blackened!
