This is not as noble or as big as Pete's
but it kept 3 of us very busy getting ready this week and cooking the last three days. We have a garden party every year the third weekend of July and this year our luck ran out for the weather. rained all day LOL we have two large tents and two covered gazebo type areas but the rain was to much. we managed to fit every one inside and they all got cosy and had fun. started wit chocolate chip cinn rolls, egged :)and coffee

this is one of the rugs being worked on today

roasted vegis

pickled fiddle heads

the drink, I brought the left overs home and added some rum

desserts!

mojito cake

jupitor Jims apple caked egged

Patticakes bananas split cake

hot fudge Sunday cake

nut bars

mocha cake, pound cake soaked in coffee brandy and then espresso ice cream in the layers and whipped cream on top.
the glasses had Swedish creme in them with black berries and blue berries and raspberries and Richards mango's

Neil had dinner ready when I got home

What great pictures! Thanks for sharing. I am hungry again from looking at them despite having just polished off some spareribs. Those desserts look especially good.

You've been a busy little hooker  Looks great Julie

WoW!,I'm movin to Maine!!!
-
food looks incredible and I am starving - not fair lol but the rug is super -- I have one that all I have to do is the middle piece - it is supposed to be my house but I don't want to put that in there and for the life of me I can't figure something else to put in - then I went and found knitting and spinning and haven't been back to work on the rug.
-
Julie... You do know how to throw a party... Everything looked wonderful!!!

Great photos! What was that drink? If it tasted half as good as it looks, it must have been awesome.
-
great job. were you a caterer in a past life?
and why wasn't i invited? i once hooked a rug in 7th grade home-ec class. was when they started making the girls take shop for a semester, and the boys had to take home ec.
my tin tool box from shop class came out better than my rug :unsure:ed egli avea del cul fatto trombetta -Dante -
It all looks glorious! I need more information about those drinks!
