Hey all...[p]I have a small bonless turkey breast thawed in the fridge and was looking for any suggestions on what to do with it. Will Jack Daniels Chips give it a nice taste? This is a first, so I am looking for something pretty good. Thanks![p]-Kevin

    Squeeze,
Is this one of those little three pounders wrapped in netting? If so, I do these often. I cook them at the temp and time that the package says. I cook on a raised grid with a drip pan underneath. For seasoning, use Tsunami Spin. We like hickory or pecan for poultry. [p]~nikki

    Squeeze,
Jack Daniels chips might be a little strong for turkey. I like it sometimes for beef but prefer pecan for poultry.

  • Just did the 2 to 3 lbs wrapped in netting and it came out awesome! Cooked like the package said at 325 for 1.5 hours until internal of 165. Used hickory - two handfulls, one at start and one about half way.[p]Had a dry rub on for about 24hrs prior - chili powder, white/brown sugar, cumin, white/black pepper, kosher salt...[p]Came out terrific w/ dinner and even better for sandwiches.
