avatar approved - but does not appear

I uploaded an avatar; waited a day or so for it to be "approved"; and come to find it's still not appearing on my posts. Is there something I'm missing? Some preference setting I've failed to select? Do I have to upload the image again?

    If by "uploaded an avatar", you are referring to the picture of the strapping young man in your profile :-), then that is your profile image and not your avatar.

    Unfortunately, the forum profile and the member profile are not 100% integrated. The avatar field is net yet supported in the member profile; so, to upload an avatar, click the "my profile" link at the top of this post. This will take you to your forum profile, which at present, is the only place where you can upload an avatar for your posts.

    Looks like I got it. Thanks for the help. Though I thought I was doing it the right way the first time....I must be getting old or sumphin :whistle:
