Someone posted about publix bread last week (sorry forgot who) so I got some, its premade dough like their pizza dough, so what do I do with it, I saw on a receipe to get dome to 500 with setter and pizza stone, throw dough in and when internal is 200 its done. Is this correct? Do you shape the dough? Do you leave pizza stone in the whole time or just preheat like with pizza?

Jeff J,[p]I have used the Publix dough several times with success. I shap the dough into a load, then bake on a pizza screen (you can do it on a stone too). I cook it at about 375-400 for 35-40 minutes.[p]Smokey

Smokey,
I use a pizza stone, preheated while the temp is coming to 400°. Peek in through the dome, using a flashlight, at the 35 minute mark and keep checking till the crust is golden.[p]Ken

BlueSmoke,
Be careful when you peek in through the dome (referring to the now infamous typo from years back.)
Cheers,
Gretl[p]p.s. I did buy a chimney cap for the Egg. It fits over the daisy wheel so I can still adjust the temp if necessary.

Gretl,
LOL[p]Don't have much need of my cap till winter comes. Then it's worth its weight in pulled pork.[p]Ken

BlueSmoke,
Well---maybe not THIS winter!
