BBB for Breakfast

I had lots of lump left over from yesterday's cook and had bought an 8" CI skillet so I decided to test drive it with some BBB and eggs while giving the grid a cleaning. My eggs have found a new companion at breakfast time. No taters or bread as I'm trying to stay away from carbs.

The ultimate judge was my ex-farm girl wife with whom I've had the privildge of butchering hogs, making bacon, sausage, etc., with the inlaws. She gave it a "two thumbs up". I believe I just replaced buying Canadian Bacon at Costco's with this recipe.

LOL. .i agree. ...i gave up lots of carbs for cholesterol when i got diabetes. . .oh well!! . . .

hey, where do you live in loudon? . .do you ever go to the big outlet mall there on rt.15 just east of leesburg. ..there is a great le creuset outlet store there. ..thats where i buy all my le creuset pots. ..great prices and the the stuff works great in the egg!! . ...

We live about 6 miles west of Leesburg one mile south off of Rt 7 at Clarks Gap (Rt 9). Where do you live?

I know the outlet mall and the shop well. I know Costco and Home Depot better :laugh:

can't buy le creuset at those two places though!!....i live in arlington, but once or twice a year we make the pilgrimage out to loudon to the outlet mall and to visit my wife's mother who is buried in old family plot in ashburn off of rt. 7. ...usually make a day of it .. .pretty country out there still where its not all developed. . . i still love to drive over and go back and forth across white's ferry just for the fun of it .. .not many places like that left in the world. ...
