Thank you. I need to get 25 ordered before I can get them produced and sent.

Hang in there they will be coming..
  • Every fallen Service member should have the same homecoming. The first troops to arrive back home early in the war were greeted by thousands. Now it seems no one notices. Some things about small towns are just priceless. Thanks for posting Pete.

Now doesn't this negate the point of an OT Forum - to post a message here about something posted over there?

Topic and content aside, you have been one to call out others for not following the new off-topic post location protocol - yet you decide to break it. How hypocritical.

To quote a long-time member of this forum: "That section is not going to work if every one keeps saying "Hell with it"

Open the Off Topic section in another tab and you can easily view both sections with a click of the mouse button.. "

Nice Pete. And for those of you that have taken a few days to help Pete or Operation BBQ the soldiers and the military appreciate it greatly. We know for a fact that some of those served by Pete and the other eggers have died over there.
I received this note from someone at US SOCOM after the cook in late March at Ft Bragg.

"What you may not truly appreciate, what you did and represent is the reason they became soldiers. That is to protect and defend America's way of life. Your acts let them know that people do care and appreciate their sacrifices for the greater good.
Most people don't realize the military is not an isolated, self-serving community. Rather, most join the military to be part of a something larger than themselves and also to defend a way of life that is unique in this world. You should be proud of what you did. I know we are."

I know I prefer to show my appreciation "before" rather than "after". But I will continue to both.
