some double D's

would any one eat this what looks like, raw duck
are you sure its safe stike, really was hard to get anyone to try it, too bad for them

probably not the best wine selection, but the bottle was open

this really was great stuff, not salty at all.

Hi fishlessman,
Great looking breast! The double D's look like the were done to perfection. I like the close up photos of stikes duck, those are the best close ups I have seen of it and it looks wonderful.

the duck is like casting pearls before swine my friend. it's made no different than regular old prosciutto, yet because it's "home made" folks run in the other direction.
i remember trying to give folks a glass of some beer that i'd made, maybe 20 years ago. they were always wondering if it was safe, etc.
ignorance (theirs) is not always bliss. hahaha
yours has (had) a good color.
i'm happy you liked it.ed egli avea del cul fatto trombetta -Dante -

Nice pics, Mike. Particularly those of stike's duck proscuitto. It was great stuff. I see Bud Light and chardonnay in your pics. You are fighting the good fight! It must take a bunch of Bud Lights to compensate for the fat on that plateful of duck.

carbs bad, duck fat good. needed one of those red italian table wines or maybe some some greasy portagee rose, i like the wino stuff better than the good stuff in the glass. matues would have been great with the duckfukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

Considering that nailing it to a rafter is the preferred method, do you and stike refer to this as "wood duck"? Heheeee.Happy Trails~thirdeye~Barbecue is not rocket surgery
