Using Grill Extender - increase temp at cooking surface?
I am experimenting with cooking ABTs and my first try turned out very good.[p]Some of the bacon wrap (on top) could have been a bit more done, but mostly the cook turned out very well.[p]I am wondering if using a grill extender (raising the cooking level) might place more heat on top of the cook, rather than most coming from under the veggie tray (which the peppers were cooked on).[p]Any thoughts will be appreciated.[p]KL

KL,
I always do mine on an extender. Keeps the bottoms from burning and gives more of that dome heat to cook the bacon.[p]

KL,
We always cook ours on a fish/veggie grid on a raised grill.[p]~nikki
