As a tornado watch was issued for my county and the local radar on tv was showing a circular movement coming right at us I had to decide to pull these at 40 minutes in and finish in the oven. All was done at 400* indirect and raised. I remember now why I don't do indirect on chicken; the skin was NOT crispy but rubbery-usually my chicken parts are very crisy done raised but direct. The chicken itself was fabulous w/ a nice hickory taste and smell pulled at 195* after cooking with some sauce for about 10-15(not sure since my wife, son & I were in the basement weathering the storm. Definitely made for an interesting dinner as we watched the storm descend upon the Nashville 4th of July festivities with fireworks ablaze! :woohoo: I am trying to post a pic but my Photobucket page isn't working right  Can't find the choose files button.
