BGE with no stand (temporary)

I've decided I want a BGE. I am handy and plan to build a cart based on plans from NakedWhiz's site.
It's gonna be a few weeks before I can start working on a cart. Can I safely put the BGE up on a temporary stand (maybe cinder blocks with a tile on top)? Or am I crazy?
Thanks
Scott

No, that will work fine! Just put the 3 ceramic feet under the egg at the 12-4-8 clock positions......

Been there and done that, it will work fine. Purchase 4 cinder blocks and a 16" patio paver to cap them and get cooking!
