Pork Butts - last question
Options
I need to cook six 8lb pork butts and have them ready for Saturday afternoon! My last post informed me that I can cook about 3-4 at a time on my large!
-Could I just stack all the butts up and try to cook all at once OR should I stick to doing two separate cooks doing 3 at at time - leaving plenty of space inbetween the butts?
-If I do end up doing the separate cooks - I will finish up my first 3 on friday night! I was told I should only store them in foil and cooler for up to 4-5 hours! any suggestions on what i should do with them if they are done 14 hours ahead of eat time! should I fridge and reheat on egg????
Thanks for your help!

If you have an adjustable rig you can do all six at the same time.
If you have an XL you can do all six.
Baring any of the above options. Foil the first bunch and let sit for a an hour or so. Pull and refrigerate.
When the second batch is done foil and let sit. When you pull the second batch it still should be hot enough to heat up the batch you refrigerated over night.
Alternately heat up the refrigerated pork in gallon zip lock bags in boiling water. Just make sure the zip seal is sealed and out of the water. Once heated add it to the fresh pulled pork. -
