Inspired by Don Marco and RGBHV, platesetter, raised grid, 300, pulled at 140, rested in cooler an hour, overall it was good, a little too smoky (went overboard with chunks of apple and maple) and forgot the procuitto (senior moment)...

that looks simply wonderful !! The bacon lattace work looks time consuming.

thanks mfox2064, if only it tastes as good as it looks
actually the bacon lattice wasn't too hard, also my first attempt at tying with a single piece of twine after watching youtube couple of days ago.

Hey Gary:
That looks amazing...great work with the bacon weave and the twine.
Forgot the procuitto - too bad, you'll have to try it all over again!
I've been working on a tiki bar in the backyard for the last couple of weeks - my eggs are calling out to me every day, but I haven't had time to fire them up.
The tiki bar's alsmot done - I promise to fire up at least one of the eggs this weekend!
Great cook Gary!

That is beautiful

Michael, thanks for inspiring me into this cook. I spent the day chopping down and cleaning up a weed-like 5" diameter tree that literally grew from under the fence, should have nipped it in the bud few years ago!

That looks like it is straight out of a magazine!!! Very nice looking! It has been a while for pork loin in our house. Now you've started my new craving!

Lol. Calling yourself a "shoe maker's son" on a food forum has a whole other meaning. From your pics here, you certainly don't appear to be a shoemaker, yourself. Nice looking dish.

Wow, that looks fantastic and tastes even better I'm sure....great work

I be saving this one in the to do list. Looks like a million bucks man. Isn't that a "Bacon Eggsplosion"?
