Tonight I made hamburgs for everyone using Hi Mt's Mesquite Hamburger rub. Made fries for the boys (again) while for the wife and me, I foil wrapped green beans, asparagus, mushroons and vidalia onions, adding EVOO, salt and pepper. I really like what the egg does to vegetables. The burgers were tastey also.

Sure looks good! How did you do the fries? What type pan?

I've been trying various methods to cook frozen fries for my boys on the egg - it just galls me to use the oven on a hot summer day so I have the challenge.

Wrt the pan, when I was in college, 30 years ago, I sold Miracle Maid cookware. They had anodized alum. bakeware, I still have the set and use that on the egg.

The latest method seems to work best, i.e., raised direct at 450 degrees turning every 15 min or so. I sure am open to any advise from the forum.

That sure looks like a great meal. As far as Fries goes I just cook them in a veggie grill pan and turn often which sounds very similar to your method. Works good IMO.

Thanks, I'm finding I need one of those vege grill pans more and more. Just haven't seen one I'd use on the medium.

If you ever find a veggy pan that would fit on a Med and leave some space let me know.
I've bought a cheap SS roasting pan and intend to get busy with a grinding wheel to make slits in it.
