Boston Butt - Dry Rub Question

Can anyone recommend a rub similar to "The Salt Lick Dry Rub" that is used in the "So Simple Pork Butt" recipe or ingredients for a similar rub? I can't find this one and I am planning on trying this recipe near the end of the week. Thanks a lot!

Not familiar with that rub. Best to try dizzy dust or another dizzy pig rub. I like to mix swamp venom with other rubs just to add a little heat.

Most any rub would do fine just make sure there is no sugar in the rub. I use Bad Byrons Butt rub or Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning which both work fine.

Hey Gene I will pick you up some Hebert's seasoning this weekend when we go. Its like Tonys with some heat.

I like to use Dizzy Pig Red Eye Express. That's good stuff.
