Last night we made baby back ribs using Car Wash Mike's method http://playingwithfireandsmoke.blogspot.com/2002/06/baby-back-rib-class.html.

These were the VERY best ribs we've made so far on our Egg. They were excellent!

Before this we've tried the 3-1-1 method and Dr. BBQ's Championship ribs from his book. Car Wash Mike's ribs beat them both by a long shot in our opinion.

Thats about the only way I do them now. I have not found a better methood. I cant wait to do some more. His beans rock too. :laugh:

I have never cooked my beans at an eggfest. When I talked to Jen about Denver, she said I could have eggs. Might break them out then. :ohmy: :woohoo: :ohmy:

But after reading Panhandle Smoker's post about your beans, I search the blog for the recipe and couldn't find it. Is it posted somewhere? If not, would you consider posting it?

Eddie has it. Hope he chimes in. I just add by look. I have cooked them as long as I have baby backs. I'm cooking a batch Wednesday and will try to measure everything out. :woohoo:

Oh those look just mouth watering! I don't know who Eddie is, but I sure hope he chimes in with the recipe.

Just in case he doesn't, if you're cooking them this Wednesday and it's not a lot of trouble to measure out what you do, I would sure love to have the recipe.

I bet a lot of other people would too.

I have tried several recipes and I like this one best. I did shorten the cook time a little. They will loose some consistancy at 3 hours. They are so good with the brisket meat I will smoke a flat just to make beans with. :laugh:

Oh one more thing I did a little different is I used Sonnys sweet sauce instead of the K.C. I had plenty of Sonnys on hand.

Thanks, Panhandle. I was thinking I would smoke a brisket just to make the beans with. It also gives me another chance to practice smoking brisket with the Egg. I do love that Egg!

I did some smoking Friday night 3 butts and a brisket flat. I will cook the beans next weekend to go with the ribs.
