I ran an 8lb butt through the trusty Kitchen Aid & made a few things :huh: .
Buttloaf: ground buttmeat, onion, garlic, cayenne peppers, kickya in yer sack rub, Maurice’s Spicy Mustard Sauce, coupla eggs, mixed & stuffed into a meatloaf pan, indirect at 325 dome till I hit 200 internal, topped with a little more sauce & served:

Buttpops: seasoned buttmeat formed around a hunk of cheddar cheese, rolled heavily in Swamp Venom, smoked, Cattlemen’s dipped, caramelized, then served on a stick like a lolly pop (the smoky hot cheese-stuffed meat kind that is :laugh: );

Buttmunch: before the meat cascading out of the grinder has a chance to come together, catch it on a plate with seasoned flour, coat well, then fry in olive oil into a butt-jerky kind of munchy thing to be used as a pizza topping; I gave it a whirl on a whim:

thanks Faith, the oops was in the posting it, I somehow screwed up the photobucket thing & most of the pictures didn't come out the first time, then I thought I was editing it but actually re-posted it a line down, then had to cut & put it back on the main line in the right place, & remove it from line 2 leaving just the oops.
You see, this is what happens when no alcohol is involved in the posting process, mistakes are made :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:happy in the hut

Pics look great but how did you feel they all turned out?

Chris, the Buttopops were excellent, I served them with some Nathan's hotdogs for lunch for me & a buddy who is here helping me out with some stuff, the Buttloaf was also good, but, most of it is in the fridge for tomorrow, I am thinking I will slice it down & reheat it in the mini with more sauce for lunch, the jury is out on the Buttmunch however, like I said, I thought of it as a topping for pizza but didn't actually make the pizze to put it on :ermm: so for now it's an unknown (it did taste pretty good however right out of the oil).happy in the hut
