Hello all,

Inever did prepackaged ribs with sauce on them already. I was thinking of rinsing off the auce before cooking so the saue wouldn't burn or should I cook them like they are?

Are you sure they're not cooked already? All the ones I've ever seen are just for re-heating in the oven and serving.

Most of the ones with sauce already on them that I've seen are pre-cooked. If they are you are probably not going to get as good a slab of ribs as the fresh ones you buy. If they are pre-cooked they are figuring you will cook them in the oven. I would just follow the directions and put them on my egg instead of in the oven. If they are not pre cooked I would just go 250 dome temp and check them after 2 hours to see if they are starting to pull back from the bone. I use the 3-1-1- method mostly. Thats 3 hours @ 250 then 1 hour wrapped in foil at same temp, then one hour back out of foil on the grid with sauce of your choice. Good luck.
