BBQ Comp - Chx

So what parts or pieces of chicken do folks turn in when at a BBQ comp. We went with breast on a beer can chx, which had been on to long and was a bit dry. We finished dead last!

    Though I have heard tell of a well know Egg team turning in the center part of the wings and I know one who turned in the wing drum.

    The former did well the latter did not.

  • We turned in chicken thighs. They tasted good, but we need to step it up to keep up with the big guys. If you get a chance check out the NEBS cooking school. It was an overnight just like a competition. We picked up lots of info and had a great time too.
