1st Spatchcock & garden veggies

Made my first spatchcock tonight w/ some of our garden veggies. Some squash, 3 types of beans, cukes & tomatoes. Used the Coach's Low Country Boil Seasoning we use about on everything. Steamed the squash & beans w/ some garlic pepper. Nice cheap meal, chicken was .99 cents/lb yesterday at Publix.

Nicely done, Rockytop! How did you like the bird that way? And lucky you to be pulling your own fresh veggies!! Our season has passed already. :blink:

Thanks LC. Love bird just about any way but this was very juicy. Beans are doing well but the tomatoes are all going to make at the same time I believe. Bunches of green ones on the 13 plants :huh:

Boss...OH so true!!! But you still gotta try the leaping frog....lol. I will be posting pics tomorrow. It's just as effective keeping the cook even, but really pretty funny!

Thanks Boss Hogg, I'll agree but also "THE Chicken" is hard to beat as well.
