First low & slow on my new Large Egg
I did 3 5-6 lb pork butts and they turned out great!!
The meat just fell apart. I had a party with 30 or so
guests and everyone loved it.
Herer are some stats,
I used Wicked Good charcoal with some apple chunks
Dizzy Dust coarse with kosher salt
The pork went on at 7:30 pm with a pit temp of 250
at 9:30 the pit was 252 and meat was 111
at 11:00 am the pit was 258 and meat was 189
at noon the pit was 258 and the meat was 193
We removed the meat and wrapped in 2 layers of HD foil
and then in blankets and into the ice chest until
4:30 and then started pulling!!I am very pleased
with my new Egg.
