yes i have and it will crack.

Yes, be sure and get the unglazed tile. They are cheap (.24 at Home Depot) I have had a few crack over the years, but not too bad.[p]SB

jimq, Yes, the ceramic floor tiles are all that I've ever used...cheap! compared to a pizza stone or plate sitter. They work great.

jimq, I've used two of these tiles for the past four years, without any cracking. they work fine.

I have used them. They do crack, but I still use them.
The only thing that I would not do is cooked directly on the tiles. There may be some lead content.
