SAF Instant yeast

I finally got some SAF instant yeast for my pizza dough and it made a big difference(for the better :laugh: ) for my dough. My pizza came out lighter and crisper than when I was using "bread machine" yeast from the grocery store.

Use the SAF in the bread machine too. You will like the difference.

SAF Instant is all I use. I keep a locking jar full of it in the freezer.

I've never seen it at any of my local super markets. I ordered it from the king arthur flour website. Good luck.

They sell 2# freeze dried blocks at Restaurant Depot for about $6

If you can't get in there let me know and I'll grab you a brick. Two pounds of yeast will last you a long, long time.
