This forum has been of so much help I wanted to say thanks by sharing my BBQ sauce recipe. I live in Austin and cater events on the side. There are a lot of ingredients, but people go crazy for this stuff :woohoo: .
2 TB EVOO
2 TB butter
1 large sweet Onion Caramelized
5 clove garlic
2 C Ketchup
1/8 C Whole Grain Mustard
1/8 C Dijon Mustard
2 TB+ Apple Cider Vinegar
1/4 C Cane Sugar
Turbinado Sugar to taste
2 stems Marjoram (substitute Oregano)
1 TB Summer Savory (substitute Thyme)
pinch basil
1 TB Cumin
2 tsp Sweet Paprika
1 tsp Smoke Paprika
1 TB New Mexican Chile Powder
2 tsp Chipotle Chile Powder
1 large TB Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp celery salt
dash Louisiana Gold, or your favorite, hot sauce
few grinds white pepper
few grinds black pepper
healthy pinch salt
Add a little stout beer if mixture is too sweet or tasted too much of tomato

Thanks again ;) ,
Swift

Nice looking recipe. Do you heat it for a period of time? Like bring to a boil and let simmer 10 minutes or so?

Yeah, add the oil and butter on medium heat>saute the onion till almost caramelized>add the garlic and finish sauteing>begin adding the rest of the ingredients; They will inevitably simmer because it takes a while to add everything. I would add the spices first so they can fry/infuse/sent the oil. hope that helps.
