Lately, I haven't been able to get the membrane of the backs of the ribs I get at Costco. I've never had much trouble in the past removing it. Is it possible the membrane has already been removed? Anybody else notice this?
Thanks,
Ryan

Nope, mine from Cosco come right off.

I have gotten ribs from Costco that had the membrane already removed...it is rare..but it does happen..honestly, proboably ony 3 maybe 4 times in all of the years I been getting em there....

I've had exactly the same thing happen the last 2 times I purchased the baby backs from Costco. I always purchase from Costco and have always removed the membranes too. After close inspection last time I determined that the membrane had already been removed. I thought it was weird, but hey, one less step for me to do.

That has been my experience the last 3 or 4 times.
