Howdy...

Heres my little snack for this evening, a couple of Wings and drumsticks with my "Wing Thing" peach & habanero marinade.
Had a nice dark and cold bavarian beer with that.
Mmmmh...

I´m in the northwest close to the the north sea, about 140 miles west of Hamburg and 60 west of Bremen.

My job & BBQ take me all over germany and europe all the time, though.

We spent 3 tours: born in Rosen Heim (?), next to Bad K, last time in Darmstaut. It was lots of fun as an army brat.

I tried your Peach based marinade and sauce this weekend. It was a huge hit. Too bad I formatted the camera with the pictures. :(

I didn't have bourbon so I used dark rum. That worked really well and with the peach and habenero it was already like a nice sweet Jamaican jerk flavor.

Just have to remember that sauce requires a good burn off of the grill afterward due to the sugar, but wow does it smell good burning off he cast iron grid.

I can imagine that rum also works with this, especially if you also add/exchange with Pineapple.

When im cooking indirect i dont use the cast iron grid though, im sure that was a PITA to clean
