<p />Corn and taters sure are easy and yummy cooked on the egg. I got the corn recipe from from Smoke & Spice (Jamison and Jamison). It really is excellent.[p]Corn[p]Peel back husks and remove silk.
Soak corn in cold water for 1/2 hour to 1 hour.
Remove from water, dry off corn, add salt and pepper, and then wrap corn with a piece of bacon.
Pull the husks back up and the tie end with butcher string.
Grill for about an hour. The temp I used was in the 325* area.[p]Potatoes[p]Brush lightly with olive oil.
Add pepper and garlic salt.
Grill for about 1 1/2 hours at 325*ish.[p]
I cook both direct. And don't worry about getting the husk back on perfectly. Once the corn and potatoes are done, you can open the vents and be ready to toss on the steak in about 2 minutes.
