Cooked a stew in my ceramic/terra cotta bean pot. I used a recipe from the crock pot book. I cooked it at 300 for 10 hours. In the future, I will use my number 10 dutch over. It hold more than the 3.5 litre bean pot & is easier to stir. I set the pot on a pizza pan.[p]
