Great pictures and good to see all those eggs.
Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,
Bordello -
Thanks for the pics. Those are some major league wheels on the XLs. Is that Bobby Q's setup?
Mike -
Sweet

Dig the XL in the 4x4 nest -
Yea Mike, those are Bobby-Q's eggs. They rolled around easily, and I was really impressed with the winch set-up that pulled them into the trailer :woohoo: Check this out

I thought it was cool anyway :P -
Thanks Bordello,it really was a great time, and hangin out with team Bobby-Q was awesome!!!!! :woohoo:

-
I thought they were, saw him at The Royal last year. Hard to miss those tires.
Nice setup to load and unload. Thanks again for the pics.
Mike -
Very nice, just hope it stay's straight going up the ramp if they have been drinking. :(
Cheers,
Bordello -
That thing is ready for A freakin Moon landing!!! pretty cool set up. very neat to see all the eggs there.
-
Doug....that 6th. pic looks very suspicious.......I suppose is the same all over the world....one goes.......everyone has to go.....
-
Hey Bordello, the back wheels are welded/bolted so that they can't turn.Only the front wheels swivel,so it's very easy to steer up the ramp

-
Great pics Doug...how did everyone do???
-
You got that right Beli
-
Thanks Kim,the BGE teams did very well.During the awards ceremony,BGE was mentioned a lot :woohoo: In fact, the Grand Champions were team "Jus-Fer-Fun",an egg team :woohoo:  :cheer: :cheer: Congrats again to Sam and Dianne

-
Great pictures! The nest set up with the huge tires is really neat. I've been thinking about some sort of nest that I could put together for car camping for a small Egg and that might fit the bill.
-
 Not if it were me after a day of parting. :silly:
I'm sure they are very careful and wouldn't we all be.
Looks like a great way to load.
Regards,
Bordello -
Hey Julie,it was a great time, but there were many more eggs there.I just didn't get pics of all of them
It was very impressive though :woohoo:
-
Thanks Scott,I hope that it works out for ya.Just keep in mind that these tires are foam filled, you really don't wanna have a flat. Also, the two back wheels were welded or bolted(not casters),so you can steer it pretty easily with the front wheels
 Bobby-Q had a great set-up :woohoo:
-
Wow Doug, nice pshow of eggs there. I went to the KCBS sanctioned comp in Pueblo yesterday and didn't see a one. but, by gosh I boasted with them 'ol boys!!!! :laugh:Molly

All the good ideas (the foam filling of the tires etc.) and the hard work was done by Charlie and his good friend.
I apologize for not spending more time conversing with you Doug. I can see from your pictures that were definitely paying attention and gave that nice Nikon a work out.
Can I steal some of your shots for my web site? -
Great pics Doug. You do your burgers yet?
-
Sparky,
Looks like a lot of eggs. Did you just take pics of eggers?

The Classic almost looked like an EGGFEST. I think there were eight or more total Egg Teams in Pro and many other Eggs being used by both Pro and Backyard. Far cry from a few years back when Ms.Diane and I showed up with four Eggs at Dillard and spent a lot of time explaining how we were going to cook a contest. Team Bobby-Q, Green Eggs and Ham, Celtic Wolf , and a few others have made an impact on the compeetion world. Most now know what they are now.
Sorry we didn't get to talk much Saturday. Should had come by to the after party. We had a great weekend but we usually do with the BBQ Family and Friends. Most saturday evenings after a contest we all gather up,order pizza or something can get delivered and have an unwind social.
Thanks for posting all the photos.

Even a sweeter win!
What did ya'll compete in? Ribs, pulled pork, brisket? -
Congrats Sam,while it was great meeting ya'll,I really wish that we could have spent more time together :)Next time,I'll try not to bother you just before turn-in
I hope to see ya'll at Eggtoberfest,or maybe the comp in August in Newnan?
I'll be there also
:cheer: I just had so much fun :P
