I sure appreciate all the knowledgeable folks who contributed to the thread on the best kitchen knives here awhile back. I finally settled on the Wusthof Grand Prix Santoku with the gratton (sp?) edge. It is one lean, mean cuttin' machine! Got it on Ebay from a dealer in NY for $66 including shipping. Just one more reason why this forum is da' bomb![p]Jim

I just did a quick search on google and found one "on sale" for $79.00 "marked down" from $105.00. My dam Walmart betty crocker knives sure can get dangerous.[p]ST[/b]
