My pewter been broke and for three weeeeks I been going through forum withdrawl. This weekend we loaded the egg in the cook trailer and took it on a road trip to Dillard,Ga. We thought it wood be good to let it see what the other cookers do. My wife used it to cook a grits key lime pie and win the grits contest with a perfect 180 points on her first contest.After I got the brisket scores back I think I'll turn that over to her at the next contest. I had a lot of folks wanting to look at the Egg and ask questions about it. My most common answer was yes it does what everyone says and yes it is an amazing cooker.When we got in today my pewter was ready to be picked up and now we're back on line. I needed a forum fix so I can work on the brisket. I saw three Eggs at the contest. Glad to be back reading and learning.
