I called the Mother ship and got the answer. If you buy a ceramic part for the egg, new from them, or an authorized dealer, it IS covered under the lifetime warranty.

So for those who have eggs that are not covered under warranty, a one time purchase of that part and you are set. Great to see BGE setting the highest standards again.

For me, my dealer and BGE has always performed better than stated warranty.
