Kobe Uglies tonight
AZRP
Posts: 10,116
Picked up a couple of 9 oz Kobe Ugly steaks tonight, seasoned them with salt and pepper.

Coupled them with some really good sweet corn and some Mexican green rice to make a very nice meal. That beef is the finest tasting protein I have ever put in my mouth, expensive but worth it. -RP

Hey Ron, nice to see ya back, I think this flap meat is the only thing in Kobe my butcher brings in. It runs $16 lb, can't imagine what a nice ribeye would be. -RP

AZRP,

From what they tell me the ugly steak is flap meat, that is what Kim used in the throwdown with Max at ATL last year. I've bought flap meat at Sam's and its alright but doesn't compare to what we get at this butcher. The Kobe takes it to a whole new level, it is unreal. I plan to bring some to ATL this year if I can afford it. -RP

I may help you afford a few extras...if you catch my drift.

The raw stake looks almost good enough to eat as is. The whole thing looks like one big marble and sooo deep red. Looks like you fell off the diet wagon tonight!
