As a new EGG owner I try to follow strings both old and new just to familiarize myself with the different terms and items that are not self-explanatory. Many of the different items/egg-cessories themselves seem to give me the most trouble (ie: #1 Mikey T ring). Has their been a post with terms or named/namebrand items that have been identified as to exactly what they are and or where any of them might be found? For someone like myself this would be an awesome reference and something that I would also save in a document form (excel or word) as it was updated by members and that could be referenced down the road if necessary by all. Thanks in advance! BoB

    smokinBOB,
Look on the on-line accesories catalog right here on the BGE website. Most of the items you will need to become familiar with are listed right there. As far as MickeyT rings are concerned, they are rings that have a cutaway hole in the center of each. The ring is placed on top of your BGE chimney to control the amount of heat that is released. Each ring has a different size hole which determines how much or how little heat you want released. They are used to stabilize varying temps. that you will use for the various cooks you will soon experience. Oh yeah, the fellow that came up with this ingenious idea is "MickeyT" himself, hence the name. Hope this will help... Mac
