Cheese stuffed burger recipe
Luvs to shoot clay
Posts: 774
About a week ago someone posted a question about a sandwich. I remember part of the recipe was to take two hamburger patties and put cheese in the middle and crimp all around the outside to keep the cheese in the middle. I printed the recipe and left it in China. Does anyone remember it and can you repost it. I looked back but can't find it. Thanks and sorry for asking. I will be posting pictures later one way or the other.

Probably not the one you are looking for, but sure sounds good.
Beef, Burger, Cheese, Cheese Stuffed, Mayberry Smoker
Took one of my wife's recipes tonight and dizzyfied it then eggified it. Here's the original recipe.
INGREDIENTS:
2 Lbs Beef, Ground
2 eggs
2/3 cups catsup
1 1/2 tsp of salt
1 tsp dry mustard
Stuffing
2 Slices Bread pieced
2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 Tbs onion, chopped
Procedure:
1 Preheat oven to 400. Mix meat, egg, catsup and salt. Divide mixture into 16 balls, flatten each. Mix stuufing ingredients and place stuffing on 8 of the patties. Top with remaining 8 patties. Press edges together. Bake in shallow pan for 35 mins.
2 Here's the changes we made
3 Instead of 1 1/2 tsp of salt we used 1 1/2 tsp dizzy dust.
4 Added 1 1/3 cups of oats to mixture to help hold it together ( this started out as frozen ground beef so you might not have to add the oats to fresh ground beef )
5 Cooked on raised grid indirect at 420 - 430 just because that's where the egg settled in at.
6 Cooked for 20 mins then flipped and cooked another 15 mins.
7 Sprinkled Raising the Steaks on burgers when put on egg then again when they were flipped.
8 These were very good and this is how I will probably start doing all my burgers.
Recipe Type
Beef, Main Dish

Thanks Doug,
I saw that one and I think I will give it a shot. Looks pretty good. Stopped and picked up some Fudrucker's buns so if nothing else, the bread will be good. We'll have a good time one way or another! -
Glad to see your puters back up and running
