    Hi from germany B)

There is a Distributor over here for BGE but they are very expensive at about 1500 € for a large with nest and wings.
If theres any chance he should buy it in the states, otherwise he can contact the guys at

We've shipped 2 Eggs to Germany just this year. If you can arrange affordable shiiping it seems to be cheaper to ship from US than buying it there.

    Good luck

Good to hear - I saw one of your posts a month or so ago with some great pics of a BBQ event in Germany. I thought you were " just visiting". I was so eggcited, I sent the link to my brother in law.

    He's in Cuxhaven (near Bremen).

He's here (in Cda) on vacation with his wife and daughter and I took him to a BGE demo. He was amazed and was genuinely interested in the egg. At one point he said "I should buy a mini and take it as carry on luggage."

The price points on the BGE.de web site are very high and I noticed several different prices (I assume a complete BGE kit versus egg only - I'll have him look at the site to figure it out as I don't speak German)

I have also sent him a link to your web site (BBQ.net) courtesy of another egger.

The only other thing he wondered about was accessibility to lump and wood chunks. Any thoughts or direction?

    Thanks again,

    Michael

    Hi Michael...

I´m in northern germany too, about 65 miles west of Cuxhaven.

Give your brother in law my email ( dmATmybbqDOTnet ) and i can give him some information about lump charcoal and stuff. I also got plenty of apple, cherry and oak wood around so if hes interested he can come over and have some for free. ( just have to cut it to chunks).
Maybe i can even help him get a better deal on an egg.
