Well we built the cart and the egg did come. Spent today trying out the new toy and cooked some wonderful German sausage. We are trying to decide what to do tomorrow and we found some sirloin steaks at the butcher that looked great. We need some advice on the best way to prepare sirloin steak and baked potatoes. Thanks for your help.

  • tammie, you are going to love it! Baking in the egg is just like a regular oven, so do a baked potato as you normally would.Rub with oil, apply some kosher salt, bake about one hour. How thick are the steaks? TRex has got a lot of us using his method. Be sure to try his steak recipe!

tammie,[p]Congrats on your new "Friend" out there on the porch!![p]My wife swears that sometimes at nite....she wakes and finds me gone from the bed. She tells, "He's out there....sort of hypnotized....just staring at his Egg, in the middle of the nite"!![p]I can't say if this is true....but next time you awaken, and find the spot next to you empty.....Well?[p]Chubby[p]Eat heavy...Dress cool!
I spent most of my money on good bourbon, and bad women...the rest, I just wasted!!
